The Japanese Ministry of Foreing Affairs just registered on its website a sustancial improvement in the Colombian Security conditions. The Japanese government has issued the 2009 Colombian Security Map, where, if compared with previous years, there is a notorious change in the perception of the current country conditions in terms of security. |

President Uribe visit Japan |

A large group of Colombians living in Japan welcomed Mr. President Alvaro Uribe on April 10th, at the residence of Colombian Ambassador.

On Monday, April 11th, the President of Colombia attended private encounter with H.E Emperor Akihito. President Uribe gladly informed about improvements on security, economy, education, environment, social mobility and reduction of the poverty. 
Some hours later, Mr. Uribe, Colombian President held meeting with Japanese Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi.
